Improvement works at Wayoh and Entwistle Reservoirs

United Utilities will be carrying out improvement works at Wayoh and Entwistle Reservoirs.

The bottom car park at Entwistle will need to be closed from 7 September, but the upper car park will remain open.

Bartridge Road will be closed

The public footpath over the embankment will also be closed as well as the footpath leading to Wayoh Reservoir

From 5 October the public footpath across Wayoh embankment will need to be closed during the weekdays but will be back open again at the weekends

They anticipate to finish this work in Summer 2027.
