Water mains renewal project - Crow Trees Lane/Entwistle Hall Lane, Edgworth

United Utilities are set to start work on a project to install approximately 350 metres of new water mains along Crow Trees Lane and Entwistle Hall Lane.
The project is being carried out to improve the resilience and reliability of the water network in the area. Work to install the new water mains will begin week commencing Monday 25 May and is expected to take approximately 10 weeks to complete the whole project.
This project is part of a wider programme of works being delivered across Greater Manchester to strengthen the resilience and reliability of the water network. Installing new pipework will help reduce leaks and protect against future bursts.
The work will be carried out by Network Plus and they will work in sections with temporary traffic management in place to carry out the work safely, where required. Letters to local residents will be hand delivered, to inform them of the work being carried out, copy attached.
